Are We Bringing Yang?

The canonical agentic pipeline — harness, sandbox, grader, score — produces capability. Capability is Yang, and Yang is already here, emerging in many places at once. What remains unresolved is the layer that keeps capability connected to identity (neology: what is this actor?) and purpose (telology: whose intention does it carry?). We build that layer — and we left seats in it open on purpose.

None of these is a gap we failed to fill.

The experiment is only honest if these parts are not ours. Everything gold or thin on the map corresponds to one of them.

An independent counterparty agent

An operator we did not build, inside the same bounded reality — a party that can refuse. Without it, every grader is just our own theory about reality.

Models for the seats

TRU is a position, not a model. Six independent seat packages from five model families are archived and waiting. Bring your model; it keeps its architecture, weights and IP.

Training pipelines & compute

The whole left loop of the standard picture — agentic RL, hours-long trajectories, hardware at scale. We do not build it. Our layer is what makes someone else's training mean something.

Real bounded cross-border tasks

Business tasks with a real counterparty and consequences that cannot be reset — the sandbox content no simulator can invent.

A verifier who distrusts us

Assurance, not certification: an institution that independently re-derives the ledger and publishes what it finds. Disagreement is evidence, not failure.

Named Next

What we still owe the design, in build order.

  1. Golden vectors Sentence pairs with attestation carrier and typed revocation; precommit-ordering vectors; fail-first tamper tests. The sealed design earns its first evidence.
  2. The watcher — a standing query The runtime form of Final Score: "is this operator in good standing for a handshake?" — answered as an offline-verifiable evidence pack over real ledger rows.
  3. First live precommit One real seat executing evidence snapshot → purpose precommit → act → verified outcome on a real action. Today this exists as design, nowhere as behavior.
  4. The mandate as executable artifact Compiled mandate, clipped rates, mandate-diff on every change — the seat as mechanism, not declaration.
  5. Simulated ≠ attested in memory Simulated and verified experience enter operator memory with different status and durability. Hypothesis 3 stays an essay until this exists.
  6. The foreign-agent door Onboarding for an agent we did not build: identity, mandate, signatures, minimum shared meaning. Ask #1 has nowhere to sit until this door exists.
  7. Remedy → precedent → law A precedent registry that actually changes the rules. The institution that judges the operator earns authority the same way the operator does: through an inspectable history of decisions.
  8. The operator diploma A graduation artifact that is a re-derivable ledger — track record, behavioral fingerprint, wash-out history — verifiable by someone who distrusts the issuer. First cohort: October 2026.

What this page does not claim

The environment does not prove our hypotheses — it gives us somewhere to test them.

"Live" means inspectable today, not finished. "Sealed" means the design is ratified and the code is honestly absent.

The score is not a leaderboard, and no participant is asked to surrender a model, data or intellectual property. The shared objects are the protocol, the minimum common meaning, and the verifiable record of what occurred.
